“Gharshana” was one of the most popular movies in Telugu. Made by Gautam Menon, it starred Venkatesh in the lead and Asin as the heroine. It was a remake of the Tamil super hit “Kakka Kakka” which had Suriya and Jothika in the lead.
Now the movie is going to be remade in Hindi. This version will have John Abraham playing the lead role of the encounter cop. Gautam decided not to direct this version and hence it will be directed by Nishikanth Kamath and produced by Vipul Shah. Meanwhile sources claim that Asin will repeat her role in this version as well.
Now Asin achieved tremendous popularity when she repeated her role in “Ghajini”. Will she achieve the same popularity by repeating her role in “Gharshana”, we have to wait and see.
