Style’s sequel is Dhanadhan

Lagadapati Sridhar is planning to do a sequel to his movie Style. This movie is titled as Dhanadhan. It is going to be music and dance based movie. Other details are awaited.

Nagamalli for Venky’s film?

Nagamalli is the title under consideration for Venkatesh’s remake of Kannada blockbuster Apta Rakshaka. Venkatesh who always makes sure that the titles of his movies are interest-arousing seems to like this title. Touted as a sequel to the blockbuster Chandramukhi, this movie features 5 heroines. Bellamkonda Suresh produces it and P Vasu directs it. It will be launched in the last week of April.

'Simha' on April 30

Balakrishna’s Simha will be released on April 30. Disclosing the release date, producer Paruchuri Kiriti said, “Except for a part of the song, shooting has been completed and post production work is going on right now. Simha will have all the elements which audience and fans expect from Balakrishna’s film. Audio has been getting good response. We are sure that Simha will enthrall all sections of audience.”

“Everyone knows about the reputation Balakrishna has in playing ferocious roles. Simha will show new dimension of Balakrishna’s acting abilities. His role and performance will impress fans and audience alike,” says Boyapati Srinu, director of the movie.

Balakrishna romances three beauties Nayanatara, Namitha and Sneha Ullal in this movie.

CM, Rajini, Kamal to come together again

The Tamil film industry is getting ready for yet another grand carnival. For Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will lay the foundation stone for ‘Kalaignar Thirai Oor’, a residential colony for members of the film fraternity, at Paiyanoor near Chennai on April 23.

The colony would come up at the 65-acre land allotted by the Chief Minister. Besides residential complexes, the Kalaignar Thirai Oor would also have a film studio, a hospital and other infrastructure facilities.

Superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan among other actors would take part at the function. While the Chief Minister would lay the foundation stone for residential complexes, Rajinikanth would do it for the studio and Kamal for the hospital.

According to Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) president V C Guhanathan, “We have also plans to set up an edit suit, a recording and dubbing studio at Kalaignar Thirai Oor. The colony would surely set an example for others.”
